Midwest Retail Services, (http://www.midwestretailservices.com) an Ohio-based multi-line wholesale distributor of retail display fixtures, is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative with a strong Customer Service focus to join our team. This position plays an integral role in the operations of our company as well as the business success of our customers. This heavy customer contact position will include the responsibilities of generating sales revenue and supporting the sales staff. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and an insatiable desire to continuously learn. Established in 1994, Midwest Retail Services is a multi-line wholesale store fixture distributor, providing an adaptive and unique blend of products, solutions, and services. We supply gondola shelving, pharmacy shelving, merchandising hooks and accessories, counters, and custom designed fixtures. Our retail clientele crosses industry lines encompassing grocery stores, pet stores, and convenience stores. We are continually striving for simplicity and efficiency by offering key products to successful retail merchandisers.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Field prospective sales inquiries

  • Work prospective and existing customers through the sales cycle

  • Assist with company marketing initiatives

  • Prepare product information as requested by customers

  • Prepare basic drawings and/or layouts to facilitate orders

  • Log sales cycle activity into the company CRM

  • Manage continuous follow up on outstanding quotes and sales orders

  • Research and quote non-core company products as approved by supervisor

  • Perform duties as assigned by management


  • Associate's degree

  • Bachelor's degree a plus

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM and NAV a plus

  • 2 years Inside Sales or Customer Service

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proactive

  • Team oriented

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
