We are looking for a solid, reliable, FULL TIME SUPERVISOR to run all aspects of the production shift with regard to production, training, personnel, and maintenance (as needed).
The company operates on a rotating 2-week production schedule utilizing 12-hour shifts (associates work 7 out of every 14 days).
This is a temperature controlled facility and an extremely clean environment due to food safety compliance.
Compensation is extremely competitive based on knowledge and experience, OT is built into the scheduled hours - current rate equals approx.
$51K annually with OT.
Actual compensation will be based on experience and abilities.
Essential Functions:
Ensure the safety of employees at all times Strong leadership skills, providing guidance on operations, scheduling, performance, etc.
Accomplish manufacturing scheduling priorities, timelines, and goals Ability to balance teamwork, good judgement, policies, and directions Adhere to, and enforce, all production and ISO 22000 related procedures Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform repair injection-molding equipment.
Perform core quality tasks and execute quality procedures Address all maintenance issues immediately Responsible for detailed reporting and documentation for customers and food quality standards Work closely with, and balance production needs, with QC
Qualifications:
Experience with HDPE and/or PP Plastics a plus, but not required Working knowledge of injection machines and processes Experience with BEKUM equipment a solid plus Strong verbal and written communications Must insure company policies and procedures are followed Requires occasional lifting, pushing/pulling, carrying up to 50 lbs Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel as needed for repairs and/or troubleshooting Experience/Education:
High School, Technical School, and/or GED required Hands-on experience with injection molding strongly desired:
manufacturing background a must Prior Supervisory experience in manufacturing a must This is a 24/7 facility running 4, 12-hour shifts, closed on major holidays Candidates must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Job Type:
