Ohio Laser LLC is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee the company's personnel welfare, education, compliance, and communication with all aspects of human resources' policies and practices.
This includes payroll processing, labor analysis, recruiting, hiring, off-boarding, benefit administration, organization of employee training, and workers compensation.
The HR Generalist has clear knowledge of HR laws and regulations and ensures Ohio Laser policies are enforced.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who actively analyzes and recommends changes to ensure Ohio Laser has a strong employee base.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Prepare, process and audit payroll in Paycor on a biweekly basis, including time, PTO, new hires, garnishments, and taxes.
Responsible for on-boarding new hires including enrollment and administration of all Ohio Laser benefits which include Health Insurance, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, and 401K plan.
Conduct all off-boarding functions which include proper documentation of voluntary resignations or terminations, conduct and document exit interviews, administer termination letter, timely cancellation of benefits, and COBRA compliance.
Maintain employee records including rate changes, time, attendance, FMLA or STD leave, status changes, training, and performance records.
Analyze and interpret compensation and benefits metrics to develop a strategy for employee retention.
Participate in company labor planning and analysis by maintaining headcounts and company organization chart.
Investigates and analyzes accidents or incidents, recommends action, facilitates employee and supervisor issue/conflict resolution.
Communicate and advise management of complex and/or sensitive matters in a timely manner.
Participate in Administration and companywide meetings, attend appropriate job fairs, HR related events.
Plan and execute a companywide events calendar while maintaining budgetary responsibility.
Must be willing to support supervision and employees across three shifts.
The position is 100% on-site in a manufacturing facility setting.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Paycor and talent management systems.
Education/Training:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience:
2 - 4 years of experience in a Human Resource role, preferred SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
